In America, August is National Black Business Month – A time when we recognize the entrepreneurial spirit of Black business owners across the country.
Black Business Month began in 2004, when Frederick E. Jordan, an engineer, and John William Templeton, President of eAccess Corp, wanted to highlight and focus on Black business owners.
How many Black-owned businesses are there?
Between 2007 and 2012, the number of Black-owned businesses also grew 34.5 percent, from 1.9 million to 2.6 million in 2012.

Adebayo is the Team Manager at Diverse Jobs Matter, a UK-based specialist job board that helps clients promote diversity and inclusion within the recruitment process.
As he wanted to grow Diverse Jobs Matter, he quickly realized that the manual outreach process was time confusing. By allowing him to focus on other aspects and other connections, Zopto has helped Adebayo improve the number of responses about DJM.
